iPADIS and IAC sign comprehensive cooperation agreement

The International Partners for Aviation 
Development, Innovation and Sustainability (iPADIS) and the the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that establishes a framework for mutual cooperation on the innovative, sustainable, and socially responsible development of international civil aviation.

The wide-ranging MoU includes development and implementation of safety, security, facilitation, economic and environment policies; promotion of progressive aviation technologies; youth development and gender equality; 

Others are, protection of air passengers and aviation personnel during public health emergencies and pandemics; accessibility to persons with disabilities; and overall support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 “We are delighted at the prospect of collaborating with IAC in support of the safe and orderly development of civil aviation in the Eastern European and Central Asian member States of the IAC as well as globally, commented Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu, founding President of iPADIS.

“This shared commitment to the sustainable future of international civil aviation is particularly important at this time, given the on-going threat posed by the COVID 19 pandemic to the industry’s contribution to economic growth and social progress worldwide”, Dr. Aliu added.

“It is a great honor for IAC to cooperate with iPADIS towards our common goal, namely the safe and economically sustainable development of civil aviation, especially during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic crisis. 

“We are convinced that the capabilities of our respective platforms will enhance the ability of states and stakeholders alike to exchange knowledge and together develop innovative, high-level solutions to support civil aviation at the regional and international levels”, noted Dr. Tatiana Anodina, academician, President of the Interstate Council for Aviation and the Use of Airspace, Chairperson of the IAC, and ICAO Edward Warner Award laureate.
