Former ICAO President Dr. Aliu awarded the Singapore’s Public Service Star

Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu, Founding President of International Partners for Aviation Development, Innovation and Sustainability (iPADIS),has been awarded the Public Service Star (Distinguished Friends of Singapore) by the Government of Singapore on the occasion of the nation’s 56th National Day.

The prestigious award is given in recognition of the invaluable friendship and support extended to Singapore by Dr. Aliu over many years including during his tenure as President of the ICAO Council, and for his immense contributions to international civilaviation development globally.

The Public Service Star will be formally conferred on Dr. Aliu during an official investiture ceremony to be held in Singapore once the COVID-19 pandemic situation allows.
