Air Peace, recently marked its 10th anniversary with a celebration attended by industry leaders and partners.
In a keynote speech, the CEO of Fidelity Bank, Nneka Oyeali-Ikpe commended Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace, for his unwavering integrity and exemplary financial discipline.
Highlighting the strong partnership between the two organizations, the CEO noted that Fidelity Bank had believed in Onyema’s vision even before the airline’s first aircraft was acquired.
He praised Air Peace’s consistent record of timely payments and its commitment to maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
“Dr. Onyema’s leadership has instilled a culture of financial discipline within Air Peace, setting a high standard in the aviation industry”.
“The airline’s ability to navigate through challenging periods, including the COVID-19 pandemic, is a testament to its resilience and strong financial management”, he added.
From a humble beginning with a single aircraft, Air Peace has grown into a major player in the African aviation market, operating a fleet of over 51 aircraft.
The bank CEO congratulated Onyema and his team on this remarkable achievement, expressing confidence in the airline’s continued success.
