An aircraft belonging to Flair Aviation, a United Kingdom based aviation company has been impounded for operating a commercial flight into the country without clearance from the government.
Currently, only aircraft on humanitarian or essentials operations due to the COVID19 are allowed to land and take off with approvals and clearance from the Federal Government.
The Minister of Aviation, Senator. Hadi Sirika, who broke the news in his official twitter handle says the crew of the flight were being interrogated as there shall be maximum penalty for the offence.
According to Hadi Sirika @hadisirika, ‘COVID-19. FlairJet, a UK company, was given approval for humanitarian operations but regrettably we caught them conducting commercial flights. This is callous! The craft is impounded, crew being interrogated. There shall be maximum penalty. Wrong time to try our resolve!”.
