To ensure increased revenue generation by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has directed a committee set up to explore the revenue potential at airports.
Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection FAAN Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua in a statement says, in the course of receiving briefly from the FAAN Management observed that there are so many potential opportunities for ramping up the revenue profile of the Agency.
“To this end, the Hon. Minister has directed that these sources of revenue be explored to the fullest”.
According to him, a committee has been set up under the chairmanship of the Permanent Secretary and given Four Weeks to come up with a comprehensive report and proffer solutions.
The committee is to look at Advertisements at the Airports, Ticketing System at the FAAN Facilities and Waivers on payment of FAAN Services.
