There was jubilation in the Electrical Department of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Ikeja, at the weekend as 23 staff received their promotion letters from the Management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.
The Head of the Department, Engr. AbdulRaham Musa while distributing the letters to the elated promoted staff, charged them to always be above board in the discharge of their duties, work hard and improve on the standards.
He also encouraged them to strive harder in giving their best always while carrying out their duties, adding that much is expected of them with this new promotion to their new levels.
Musa, admonished them to upgrade themselves in their educational careers as there was no limit for learning.
“To whom much is given, much is expected. I urge you not limit yourselves in the area of education. You have to improve yourselves”.
According to Musa, it will amount to failure if the followers of a leader are not moving ahead, stressing that success is not only measured in money but also with achievements.
He noted that with the caliber of people he is surrounded with and with determination, the department will surmount any problem that will confront the system.
In appreciation of his fatherly role, the elated staff presented a gift to Engr. Musa and urged him not to abandon them.
