Mr. Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua is the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.
A technocrat, seasoned educationist and versatile manager of material and human resources.
Mr. Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua comes from a rich and varied work background that would positively impact on his role as Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection of the Authority.
Abdullahi, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management ( NIM) , holds a Masters degree in Public Administration, year 2001 of the Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.
A 1989 graduate of Chemistry ( Ed) of the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Mr Yakubu- Funtua started his Public Service career at the Ministry of Education Katsina in 1991.
He served with the Ministry until he joined the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company KEDC in 1997 as the Asst. Manager Computer Operations.
He also had an earlier experience in the banking sector between 1981 and 1984 as a full time clerical staff and others on temporary basis with UBA.
Mr. Abdullahi Yakubu- Funtua had a very successful career with KEDC serving with progression at different stations as Computer Centre Manager, Undertaking Manager , Senior Manager Debt Management until he was promoted to Business Manager of KEDC Kaduna in 2012.
After years of meritorious service in the Public Service of Nigeria ,in year 2015, Mr Yakubu-Funtua set up Sarakh Limited, a company he has managed until his appointment as Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.
A native of Funtua in Katsina State , Abdullahi did his primary Education in Kano and Zaria, secondary education in Funtua before proceeding to Zaria for his IJMB .
Mr Yakubu-Funtua has a special passion for mentoring and growth of his subordinate officers.
Born on June 21st, 1964, Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua is married with children .A savvy manager, through personal development and interest, Abdullahi has developed a special skill for mediation and negotiation.

Mr. Femi-Pearse Olumuyiwa is the newly appointed Director of commercial and Business Development (DCBD) of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN).
A Lagosian, born on the 23rd of September 1979, Femi –Pearse is married.
He obtained his secondary school education in Ghana. He speaks English,Yoruba, and Ga, Twi, Ewe (Ghanian) languages fluently.
Mr. Femi-Pearse, a seasoned banker whose career in the banking sector took him from Intercontinental bank, Afribank, Diamond Bank and Ecobank Nig. Ltd, where he rose to become a Senior Manager & Team Leader, Head, Strategy Implementation and Value Chain Business Manager.
Mr. Femi-Pearse has been exposed to several training courses abroad that hasbroadened his horizon and reinforced his strong analytical and execution capabilities with immense value-creating capacity.
He obtained a graduate Diploma from Harvard Business School, USA in GeneralManagement Programme (GMP).
He took part in an Executive Development Programme (EDP) at the Wharton School of Executive Education, USA.
He possesses a foundational Certificate of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, UK.
He has also been exposed to Best Practices Management of Banks, Euromoney Training, UK.
Mr. Femi-Pearse, an entrepreneurial- minded business professional is the founder of the SME Mall and its subsidiary Zira Diaspora Messenger, created to be the foremost go-to person for helping people in the UK, USA and Canada execute various personal tasks back home.


Barr. Azubuike Okorie is the newly appointed Director Corporate Services of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
A consummate Public Servant, Barr. Okorie started his career in the Federal Civil Service as a Supplies Officer in 1987.

His career in the Federal Civil Service where he worked in various capacities took him across several ministries which include, Power, Water Resources, Defence, police Affairs, Head of Service and lastly to Aviation.
Barr. Okorie rose through the ranks to become Director (Procurement), a position he held until his retirement in July, 2022.
Based on the records of his performance over the years, the Hon. Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika appointed him his Special Adviser on Projects.
Barr. Okorie held that position till his recent appointment as Director Corporate Services of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
A voracious reader, Barr. Okorie enjoys sports and music.
He is married with children.


Shehu Dogo Muhammad, a seasoned public servant who rose through the ranks has had a fulfilling administrative career of over thirty years traversing different ministries of the Nigerian Public Service.
His vision is to see a work environment that values professionalism, talent/staff development while maintaining a dedicated focus on the organisation’s operations, effectiveness, and service.
Shehu Dogo Muhammad graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration.
His quintessential career in public services started in Kano State Civil Service, 1989 and took him to Jigawa State Civil Service. From Jigawa he moved to the Presidency Abuja where he rose to become an Assistant Director Administration in Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in 2007.
From FIRS, Shehu moved to the Ministry of Communications and in February 2014, he moved to the Ministry of Interior as Deputy Director Administration, Civil Defence, Immigration and Prison Service Board.
He moved from the Ministry of Interior to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture as Deputy Director, Collaboration and Partnership with International Donors & Development Partners, and from there to the Ministry of Transportation as Special Assistant to the Permanent Secretary.
In 2018, he was made Director of Human resources of the Ministry of Aviation where he served until his retirement in 2022.
Given the wealth of administrative knowledge that resides with him, the government has used him in so many distinguished Ad Hoc assignments.
He has also attended several workshops, seminars and conferences locally and internationally in the course of his service.
In 2017, he was Secretary/ Member Committee on the Resolution of Management/Administration Crisis at the Council of the Regulation of Freight Forwarders of Nigeria (CRFFN).
He was also a board member representing the Ministry of Aviation in the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria from 2019-2023.
Until his appointment, he was Special Assistant to the Hon. Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirka on Inter Agency Matters.
Born on June 7, 1962, Shehu Dogo Muhammad is married with children.
A native of Hadejia in Jigawa State, Shehu enjoys sports and reading.
