Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest airline, has announced the launch of a new six-times-weekly service to Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Starting November 1, 2024, the airline will operate the route with its modern Boeing B787 Dreamliner aircraft, offering passengers a comfortable and efficient travel experience.
This expansion marks a significant step in strengthening Ethiopian Airlines’ presence in South Asia.
The new service will provide convenient connections between Bangladesh and key destinations across Africa and beyond, fostering trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.

The new flights will offer convenient departure times from Addis Ababa and arrivals in Dhaka, making it easy for passengers to connect to Ethiopian Airlines’ extensive global network.
Ethiopian Airlines has already been serving Dhaka with cargo and logistics services. The introduction of passenger flights will provide even greater connectivity and opportunities for businesses and individuals.
With the addition of Dhaka, Ethiopian Airlines will now serve six destinations in South Asia, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, and Karachi.
