Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest airline, has made history by becoming the first African carrier to operate the Airbus A350-1000.
The state-of-the-art aircraft landed at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport on [date] to a grand welcome, marked by a water cannon salute.
The arrival of the A350-1000 is a significant milestone for Ethiopian Airlines, solidifying its position as a leader in African aviation.
The aircraft is equipped with the latest technology, including Thales’s AVANT Up inflight entertainment system and the HBC+ connectivity system, offering passengers a luxurious and connected travel experience.

The A350-1000’s innovative design, featuring a carbon-fiber fuselage and powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, ensures a quieter, smoother, and more fuel-efficient flight.
Ethiopian Airlines plans to add three more A350-1000 aircraft to its fleet in the coming months, further expanding its network and enhancing its passenger experience.
