The partnership aims to elevate the airline’s sales and marketing strategy in Nigeria.

In a significant move, EGYPTAIR inaugurated a new office in Kano on December 4, 2023, enhancing customer outreach and service delivery.

The opening ceremony drew key figures from the aviation and allied industries, including His Excellency Mr. Khalil A. Muselmani, the Honorary Consul of Lebanon to Nigeria, Mr. Ahmed Dauda Bagari of the Nigeria Immigration Service, and Dr. Mohamed Abdeldayem, Chairman of Master Group. Prominent tour operators, VIPs, and corporate clients from Kano also showed their support.

Managing Director of Elite Tours, Mr. Mohamed Said, emphasized the company’s strong history in Egypt, being a top tour operator in Cairo with its parent company, Master Travels.

Mr. Muharram Abdelrahman, General Manager of the GSA in Nigeria, marked this as a significant milestone for EGYPTAIR’s 45-year history in Nigeria, expressing the decision to have a GSA in Kano and Lagos to enhance services and be closer to customers.

EGYPTAIR Country Manager, Mr. Amr Basha, highlighted the airline’s efficiency goals through the GSA model, emphasizing expansion to new destinations. He discussed plans for tourism, charter flights to Sharm El Sheikh, and specialized packages for medical tourists and travel agents.

Mr. Mohamed Farahat, General Manager of Investment, explained the airline’s investment in the GSA for enhanced products and services.

Despite challenges with blocked funds, EGYPTAIR remains committed to serving the Nigerian market with daily flights from Lagos and multiple flights from Abuja and Kano, maintaining strong relationships with the Nigerian government and customers.
