…marriage proposal excites passengers
To encourage more Nigerians who travel on the Dubai route on Medview airline, the airline has introduced a free ticket for any passengers who has flown 5 times on the route.
Making the announcement on board the Boeing 767-300 ER flight during its inaugural flight to Dubai, Managing Director, Medview airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole said Nigerians who are widely travelled and frequent fliers on the route need a pocket friendly fare and packages which Medview is offering.
He said as a Nigerian airline, carrying the nation’s flag, it needs all the support from all Nigerians to remain and be consistent on the route.
Bankole promised the over 200 passengers on board the flight yesterday(Thursday 07/12/17) and prospective passengers on time departure, quick passenger facilitation, free baggage allowance and quality inflight service.
“We have a special free baggage allowance, with two pieces of 25kg each, which gives 50kg, that is a wonderful gift as well and we want to say to you coming onboard this flight, we will continue to remember you, this is the beginning of good things to come to the country called Nigeria.
Alhaji Bankole also used the opportunity to intimate the passengers of the new routes to start soon and other existing routes, “Medview airline operates 4 flights to London as you are all aware and we are here on the Dubai route for 3 times weekly and we hope to commences Jeddah on schedule flight on 24th of December, 2017 on Thursday and returning on Sunday, this will continue till summer and that will make it 4 flights during the Ramadan. And the big news everyone of you is expecting is the direct flight to Huston come summer 2018”.
He expressed appreciate for the patronage, “I wish you all the best and I thank you for being part of this glory, may Almighty God continue to enrich your pocket and bless you and your family, I wish you season greetings and the best of next year 2018 that we are all looking up to. At the stop over at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport, Abuja, representative of the Minister of state, aviation, minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Aisha Jumai Al Hassan, came on board to celebrate with the airline. Others include, Alhaja Bankole wife of the MD Medview airline, Super Eagles striker, Odion Igalo, the representatives of the Oba of Lagos, aviation Journalists, among other dignitaries.
Some passengers were boarded at the Abuja airport to Dubai.
Adding spice and excitement to the inaugural flight was the marriage proposal of one its male passengers, Mr. Tayo Adesokan to his fiancée for some years, Miss Tolulope Sanya onboard the flight.
The mood was set by the crew members with a romantic love song played for the marriage proposal to awaken other passengers who were in a sleepy mood to feel the effect, as the elated passengers who were witnessing such a unique presentation applauded after the marriage proposal was made.
The inaugural flight of 8 hours from Lagos via Abuja to Dubai was rounded up with the cutting of the cake which was shared to all on board.
Inflight service on board were jollof rice, pounded yam, semovita, egusi soup, chicken, fish, meat, wine(white and red) and others on demand by passengers.
