…kick starts Tuesday 13-15 May
The fifth edition of the Drone Technology Conference and Exhibition (Dronetecx2025) is set to kick off this Tuesday, May 13, and will run until Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the NIGAV Expo Event Centre, Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
Over 300 participants have expressed interest in attending the conference, which will bring together highly placed individuals from the office of the National Security Adviser, the Air Force, industry players, and end-users to discuss the future of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in Nigeria.

According to the conference coordinator, Mr. Fortune Idu, all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth outing.
The event is expected to draw participants from both civilian and military personnel.
The conference, supported by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, aims to identify the potential of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) transformative power for enterprise development under a robust regulatory framework.
This year’s event will examine the future of UAS in Nigeria and feature exhibition stands for participants.
Last year’s event introduced two awards to support efforts to open up the industry to youths and maximize opportunities created by drone technology.
The upcoming conference is expected to build on this momentum, providing a platform for stakeholders to engage and explore the vast potential of drone technology in Nigeria.
Idu assured that, with a multistakeholder gathering, Dronetecx2025 promises to be an exciting event that will shape the future of UAS in the country.
