Ethiopian airlines this evening airlifted another batch of 281 Americans from the Lagos International airport.
The Ethiopian airline Boeing 777 aircraft flight ET8801 with registration number ET-ASK to Washington DC departed at 1549hrs with the 281 US citizens comprising the elderly and children.
A total of 866 US nationals have so far been evacuated from the Lagos airport.
The evacuation kicked off Monday 6th with the first batch of 385, Tuesday 7th 200 and today 8th 281 evacuees.
Investigation revealed that this may be the final evacuation from Nigeria. So far, over 44,000 US citizens have been evacuated from 78 countries including Nigeria facilitate by the US Department of State.
