Covid-19: Airpeace evacuates 70 Israeli nationals from Lagos airport

Another batch of evacuees were this morning airlifted  from Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos to Israel.

All the evacuees were Israelis.


The designated airline, Airpeace took off from the airport at 11.55hrs via Abuja to Israel.
The airline carrying 87 persons, 70 Israelis evacuees and 17 crew operated under Essential flight with the permission of the Federal Government through the Ministry of Aviation.

The aircraft flight number P47877 with Registration number 5N-BWI departed the airport at 11.55hrs this morning to Isreal via Abuja.


On the 2nd and 9th of next month, Air France will be airlifting another batch of evacuees from Nigeria under essential flights.

The airline had already been granted permission to operate these flights.
Last week, it airlifted 260 nationals from Europe.

The Air France  aircraft which touched down at the Lagos at about 2.05hrs departed at 15.44hrs.
