Coronavirus:MEA evacuates 140 Lebanese from MMIA, Canada, America prepare for tomorrow

Barely 5 hours after the evacuation of 37 Egyptians from the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, another batch of 140 nationals all Lebanese were also evacuated from the Lagos International Airport today.

They were flown out of the Lagos Airport by Middle East Airlines, MEA after going through series of screening.


The aircraft which flew into the country under humanitarian operations departed at 16.18pm this evening.

The Canadian and American governments are also set to evacuate its nationals tomorrow (Monday) from the Lagos Airport.
