The Nigerian aviation industry is gearing up for its annual night of glamour and recognition: the 13th NIGAV Awards and Ministerial Dinner.
In a statement by the chairman of NIGAV, Mr. Fortune Idu, led by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, the event promises to be a star-studded celebration of the people who keep Nigeria flying high.
The NIGAV Awards will take flight on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024, at the NIGAV center in Murtala Mohammed International Airport, soaring from 2 pm to 7 pm.
He said, there would be dazzling King and Queen of the Air competition, where cabin attendants from different airlines showcase their grace, skill, and dedication as they compete for the coveted crown and a handsome cash prize.
Over 30 accolades will be bestowed upon individuals and organizations who made 2023 a year of triumph for Nigerian aviation, despite the industry’s challenges.
Idu noted that, this is in Recognition of the tireless efforts of pilots, engineers, ground crew, and everyone else who make air travel possible, and the NIGAV Awards are a reminder that their contributions deserve applause.
