Aviatrix Hub, a leading Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in Nigeria’s aviation industry, has graduated the fifth batch of flight dispatchers after they completed the Advanced Flight Dispatch course.
The six-week intensive training program was conducted at the institution’s center, located near the International wing of Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
During the graduation ceremony, Aviatrix Hub’s CEO, Mrs. Victoria Adegbe, encouraged the new dispatchers to apply their skills and knowledge to enhance the safety and reputation of the aviation industry.
“The aviation industry is a global village,” Mrs. Adegbe stated. “You must maintain the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, and conduct to remain relevant in this sector.”
She advised the graduates to foster positive relationships with aircraft crew members, emphasizing that the safety of any flight depends significantly on their performance.
She stressed that, they should avoid mediocrity and not let personal emotions impair their judgment.
“The pilots and airline companies rely on flight dispatchers to ensure the safety of the aircraft and passengers from the ground, during passenger facilitation, through takeoff, and until arrival at the destination,” she explained.
Mrs. Adegbe also urged the graduates to be patriotic and maintain good relationships with colleagues, crew, and airport authorities, especially when working with foreign airlines.
Aviatrix Hub’s Director of Training, Mr. Olatunde Oyewo, echoed these sentiments, calling on the graduates to be exemplary ambassadors for the aviation industry.
He noted the critical need for competent flight dispatchers due to their vital roles in flight operations.
One of the graduates, Moses Emmanuel remarked that the training had sharpened his skills and broadened his understanding of industry demands and flight preparations.
Fellow graduates Racheal John-Adeniji and Alvin Ocheja expressed their confidence in being well-prepared to begin their careers in flight dispatch and operations.
