In a move to bolster Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace industry, the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development and the Nigerian Air Force have announced a joint partnership to host the Nigeria International Air Show in 2025.

The decision was reached during a courtesy visit by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.

Air Marshal Abubakar revealed that the Air Force had been planning its own air show independently, but recognizing the potential for a more significant impact, proposed a collaborative approach with the Ministry.

Keyamo welcomed the initiative, emphasizing the importance of synergy between the two entities.

He stated that the event would showcase Nigeria’s aviation prowess to the world and attract global players in the industry.

A joint committee comprising representatives from both the Ministry and the Air Force has been established to oversee the planning and execution of the air show.

The event is expected to feature cutting-edge technologies, aerial displays, and business opportunities.
