The 4th edition of the CHINET Aviacargo Conference, the premier air cargo event in West Africa, is set to take place in Lagos on August 22nd.
Organized by ATQNEWS LTD, the conference will bring together leaders from the aviation, cargo, and insurance industries, as well as regulators and insurance professionals.
This year’s event boasts a strong lineup of insurance professionals, led by Mr. Olusegun Omosehin, the Insurance Commissioner.
Other notable insurance CEOs scheduled to attend include Chief Babajide Olatunde-Agbeja, former Chairman of African Insurance Brokers Association; Mr. Eddie Efekoha, GMD of Consolidated Hallmark Holdings; and Mr. Moruf Apampa, CEO of NSIA Insurance.

The MD of FAAN, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, and the new Directorate of Cargo Development Services will showcase the pivotal role FAAN and its airports have played in growing air cargo in Nigeria.
Capt Ed Boyo, CEO of the most successful airline in Nigeria, will share his experience with the audience.
The conference will also feature a panel discussion on the aviation industry, moderated by Olumide Ohunayo, General Secretary of Aviation Round Table. Panelists will include Dr. Alex Nwuba, President of Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association of Nigeria.
Other presentations will cover the role of airports in growing air cargo, the opportunities and challenges of domestic air cargo in Nigeria, and the importance of export integrity and security.
The conference will also feature representatives from NAFDAC, Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Services NAQS, and freight forwarders NAGAFF and APFFLON.
