The Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ASRTI) is organizing a Business Breakfast Meeting (BBM) to address concerns about the high charges, duties, and tariffs in Nigeria’s aviation sector.

The event, scheduled for December 7, 2023, at Golfview Hotel & Suites in Ikeja, Lagos, will feature Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Reform & Tax Policies, as the Keynote Speaker.

Other distinguished speakers include Prof. Abiola Sanni (SAN), an expert in Commercial Law, Taxation & Arbitration from the University of Lagos, and Dr. Samson Fatokun, Regional Director of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for West & Central Africa.

The BBM will comprise panel sessions involving service providers and airports, with the participation of international airlines, fuellers, ground handlers, licensing agents, catering service providers, airline operators, and private airport stakeholders from various regions.

Air Commodore Ademola Onitiju (Rtd), the President of ASRTI, mentions that the Minister of Aviation & Aerospace Development, Barr. Festus Keyamo (SAN), and heads of aviation agencies are expected to attend the occasion.

ASRTI, as Nigeria’s leading aviation NGO, has been advocating for the safety, professionalism, growth, and development of the country’s aviation industry for over two decades.
