FORTY-ONE Nigerians have been deported from six countries in Europe for immigration related offences barely two months after a set of 34 Nigerians were repatriated for same offences.
The aircraft a Boeing 767-300 that brought in the deportees arrived the Lagos international airport this afternoon.
The deportees include 35 males and 6 females from Austria, Germany, Hungry, Switzerland, Norway and Denmark.
Investigation revealed that the deportees were deported for overstaying in those countries.
Security officials who accompanied the deportees from Europe handed the Nigerians over to officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) who later processed them and allowed them to leave the airport.
Aviation Security (AVSEC) officials of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were also on ground to receive the deportees.
