The Association of Nigeria Aviation Professionals (ANAP) has elected Comrade Adedayo Alale as its new President General.
In his inaugural address, Alale pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessor, Kabir Gusau, and prioritize the overall development of the union.
He emphasized that his administration will focus on improving the working conditions of members by ensuring that welfare benefits intended for workers are released by management.
The ANAP’s President also stressed the importance of constructive engagement with management agencies and urged workers to remain committed to their struggle for better working conditions.
Alale, as a staff member of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) before his election, Alale brings valuable experience to his new role.
Before his election, he has served as the Chairman of the FAAN branch of ANAP.
Alale took over from Comrade Kabir Yahaya Gusau, who had been leading the union and his election was conducted through a consensus-based process.
