…as Aviation Experts Lead discuss
The Niger State government has announced its participation in the 2024 All Airport Business and Expo Submit (ABSE), scheduled to hold at the NIGAV Expo Event Centre, Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, from August 20 to 22.
According to Mr. Fortune Idu, the organizer of ABSE 2024, the Niger State government has promised to unveil its airport program to the aviation community during the event.
The program is expected to showcase the level of work at the state’s new airport.
Other notable attendees at the event include Mrs. Patricia Ifeoma Igwebuike, Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, and Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), who will deliver a keynote address on airport viability.
“This session will precede the Airport Revenue and Route Development workshop by Mr Josiah Chinyama Mvula of Zambia Airports Corporation Limited and Apple Lee from Munich Airport”.
According to Mr. Idu, “she will also chair the special Airport Manager forum on the 20th of August 2024 from 10 am with Dr Richard Aisuebeogun where the Airport managers will demonstrate their competence to market and promote business opportunities within their airport”.
The theme of the year summit is “Addressing Airport Viability as a Key to Successful Aviation Business Ambition,” which aligns with the aviation economic revamp plan of the present administration by improving revenue generation.
The event will feature, Airport Master Class on Airport Revenue Generation, Airport Viability Discussion, Addressing Airport Safety and Challenges and Airport Logistics And Cargo Operations
“We have invited the Honorable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo alongside heads of aviation agencies as special guests. We also have the Honourable Commissioner of Transport from various Airport states participating at the summit. Hon. Aminu Suleman Takuma, Honorable Commissioner of the Ministry of Industry Trade Investment and Private Sector Development representing”, said Mr. Idu.
The event will also feature a special Airport Manager forum, where airport managers will demonstrate their competence in marketing and promoting business opportunities within their airports.
